DEMO Consultants is an independent consultancy dealing with strategic management, technical advice and software modelling for the real estate sector. DEMO creates innovative software products offering tools for investment appraisal, portfolio management, strategic decision making and maintenance planning. DEMO works for research institutions and government agencies. DEMO personnel consist of building engineers, real estate managers, building economists, and software developers. DEMO Consultants participates in national and international R&D-projects (Research & Development), working in close collaboration with its customers and selected associated companies and individual researchers. Much research focuses from fourth framework programme (FP4) throughout research programme Horizon 2020 on sustainable development, energy conservation, healthcare and the combination of technology with socio-economic factors.
Main role in MOBISTYLE
DEMO is a leader of the work package 4 responsible for Development of ICT Based Tools by ensuring the performance and progress of the work package in relation to the overall project plan. DEMO will evaluate the progress reports provided by the work package 4 participants to ensure a successful completion of objectives and tasks.
Key persons involved
Mr. André van Delft, MSc is the CEO of DEMO Consultants and responsible for the general management. He holds a BSc in building engineering and an MSc in Real Estate Management (TU Delft, Netherlands). He is an experienced real estate consultant and software developer specialized in computer models for the real estate industry with the focus on information management and risk analysis. He has designed and developed software applications for ministries, municipalities, housing associations, institutional investors and research institutions. André has participated as researcher in several international research consortia. | |
Dr. Rosamaria Olivadese (1988) works as researcher for DEMO Consultants. She studied Engineering and Architecture (MSc) in Italy. After graduation she worked for two years as a project leader and architectural engineer at an architectural office in the Netherlands. Recently, she obtained her PhD in Civil and Architectural Engineering at Pavia University (Italy). She is specialized in adaptive reuse and transformation of buildings. At DEMO, Rosamaria works within the on-going EU research projects and also contributes to new research proposals. In addition, Rosamaria plays an important role in integrating innovative research solutions into the services and IT tools of DEMO. |
